ගම්පහ දිස්ත්රික්කයේ වේයන්ගොඩ සිට කළගෙඩිහේන මාර්ගය ඔස්සේ කිලෝමීටර් දෙකක් පමණ පැමිණ වමට හැරී තවත් කිලෝමීටරයක් පමණ පැමිණි විට මෙම අලංකාර සහ පෞරානික වටිනාකමක් ඇති මෙම විහාරය පිහිටා ඇත. අලංකාර ඉපැරණි බිතූ සිතුවම් හා බුදු පිළිම වහන්සේලා ද, අඩි පනහකට අධික උසකින් යුත් හිටි පිළිම වහන්සේ මෙම විහාරයට ගාම්භීර බව එක් කරයි. විහාරස්ථානය වටා ඇති ජලය පිරුණු පොකුණ ගෙනෙන සිසිල් බවත් එහි ජීවත් වන මත්ස්යයන් මෙන්ම හංසයන්, තාරාවන් විඩාපත් ගතට මෙන්ම සිතටද ගෙනෙන්නේ සැහැල්ලුවකි. This temple is located on the Kalagedihena road from Veyangoda in the Gampaha district for about 2 km and turn left for another kilometer. Beautiful ancient frescoes and Buddha statues, as well as a standing statue over fifty feet high, add to the grandeur of the temple.
